Young Voters Get More Change Than They Bargained For
Callow young voters, honestly believing Senator Obama’s vacuous campaign rhetoric, expected the unfolding of political harmony, peace, and plenty. What they stand to get is a very large tax if they don’t buy health insurance that covers a multitude of ailments that do not affect young people.
Moreover, mandatory insurance is unconstitutional. Socialized medical care, a long-time goal of the Democrat/Socialist Party, is one more severe curtailment of personal liberties that the Bill of Rights aimed to protect.
