The Progressive Paradigm
Argentina is one of the less discussed examples of social-justice shipwreck. Dictator Juan Peron’s policies and actions were disturbingly similar to those embodied in President Obama’s budget.
Just as did President Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930s and Argentinian dictator Juan Peron in the 1940s, President Obama regularly denounces the business and financial communities and blames our economic distress on them.
This is a standard element of the liberal-progressive-socialist pattern, a reflection of the secular gnosticism, which I described in The Da Vinci Code: Liberal Gnosticism.
A characteristic common to all the varieties of gnostic socialism is the belief that human conduct, indeed fundamental human nature, can be manipulated by controlling and changing the the conditions in which people live…
The corollary is that, in order to restructure society and control the conditions which determine human nature and conduct, it is necessary to get rid of inconveniences like Christianity, personal moral responsibility, and private ownership of property that stand in the way…
First, the gnostic liberal is dissatisfied with the world as he finds it.
