The Hollow Men: Eliot Updated

T. S. Eliot’s 1925 poem described the emptiness of life for habitues of the hedonistic jazz age, deserted by their secular socialistic god that before World War I had promised inevitable Progress towards earthly perfection.

Today’s liberals are reliving that era, as their secular god once again proves to be worthless.
