America’s journal of record for socialism, which is to say of mythological fantasy, deliberately falsifies Census Bureau statistics.
I’m indebted to Maggie’s Farm for this link (Ed Driscoll.com), which explains the false basis for the recent Times headline 51% of Women Are Now Living Without Spouse.
Reporter Sam Roberts’s editorial purpose underlying this front-page article can be perceived in the article’s third paragraph:
“Coupled with the fact that in 2005 married couples became a minority of all American households for the first time, the trend could ultimately shape social and workplace policies, including the ways government and employers distribute benefits.”
Given the left-wing, anti-Judeo-Christian orientation of the Times editorial board, the subliminal point appears to be that same-sex “marriages” are just as important as the purportedly dwindling number of now-out-of-fashion marriages between men and women.
