Liberal-Progressivism Promotes Murder and Racial Cleansing Policies
Neither abortion nor eugenics would have been tolerated in Christian America before Darwin’s Origin of Species (1859) and his Descent of Man (1871).
Darwin’s theories supported evolving moral relativism (denying the existence of God and timeless principles of human morality), which abetted a survival-of-the-fittest rationalization for Hitler’s Holocaust. Darwin’s cousin Francis Galton was the articulator of the “science” of eugenics, the belief that failure to weed out imperfect specimens from the human breeding stock would lead to mongrelization of the race and deterioration of society.
Some people are aware that Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers Party sterilized as many as 400,000 people. Very few know that, in the first half of the 20th century when early progressivism was making inroads against religious morality, the same inhuman process was pursued in the United States. Roughly 60,000 people, mostly in liberal-progressive California, were sterilized, against their wills. Both in Nazi Germany and among American liberal-progressives, the morally relativistic justification was the need to improve society’s human breeding stock.
Glaringly evident is liberal-progressivism’s reification of abstractions and its dislike for individual economic and political liberty. Eugenics is, in the liberal-progressive view, just another sort of class struggle: inferior humans vs superior humans (who by definition will be atheistic secularists).
Abortion and eugenics are inseparable parts of the secular religious doctrine now unconstitutionally established as our national religion and taught in our schools at taxpayer expense. Once the personal restraints of Judeo-Christian morality are swept aside, there is no limit to liberal-progressive tyranny. The only question, as we see in the Obama administration, is how barbaric that tyranny will be.
