  1. "The upheaval that followed his presidency in Southeast Asia, Iran, Afghanistan and elsewhere proved that his policies had been correct all along."

That argument is like 'pinning the tail to the donkey', searching blindfolded for a conclusion that will appeal to the party faithful. It doesn't mean much are explain anything. Also, we shouldn't forget Nixon helped create the Iran crises by supporting the corrupt Shah, while ignoring the winds of change.

  2. There is no excuse for illegal activity and both parties (stuffing documents in pants was theft) engage in it as well as unethical behavior. Both parties use the "if we can get away with it, it is OK" system of doing business.

  3. Those who choose a man-made philosophy based on purposeful lies are self-consigned to a life of lying at every level of human experience.

Secular humanism, national socialism, Marxism, islamofascism, and Peter Potterism are current examples of falsity perpetuating such systems. Faking virtue and denying 'sin' are fundamentals of all collectivist nontruth of seduction of individuals who make up 'the masses.' For too many it works...if temporarily...since nature's & nature's GOD's rejection! Thank GOD.
