  1. While Lukens seems to fear reducing military spending, the entire group of Republican candidates for president in the Debate on Tuesday June 14 uniformly were in favor of reductions and getting out of our foreign wars.

    The realization that we cannot afford a military budget as large as the war budges of all other countries in the world combined has begun to hit even the hardcore pro-military on the right.

    Yes, peace does come through strength. But strength includes not being bankrupted by foolish excessive expenditures on a bloated military.

    Strength includes not being bankrupted by foolish bloated unconstitutional illfare spending for things like HUD, Do Ed., Obamacare, Socialist Insecurity, Medicare, Medicaid.
