Superficiality

Superficiality is a necessary part of liberal-progressive-socialism.  Without bothering to determine how deep the water or how many boulders lie just below its surface, liberal-progressives are ready to leap head first off the cliff into any pool that looks nice on the surface, from afar.

  3. Speaking of leaping head first off the cliff, I have always been impressed how many radical liberals scoffed at what they consider an irrational belief in Christian theology, but made a similar but secular leap of faith into the arms of Joe Stalin and his horrid brand of socialism called communism.

Many of the West's leading intellectuals supported that 70 year experiment in inhumanity, and against all evidence, clung to a faith that that ideology would lead to a better life on earth. Few went to the Soviet Union to check it out, electing to live comfortably in the luxuries of Western capitalist nations, while deploring the greed and inequities of America, and working to undermine the very society they chose to live in!

Not for nothing do I claim intellectuals destroy successful societies! And who can argue that intellectuals are "smarter" than the common man?
