National Socialist Healthcare: the Underlying Philosophical Differences

Cal Thomas sketches the clash between the secular materialist paradigm inherent in the President’s socialist healthcare scheme and the Judeo-Christian belief in the sanctity of human life.

To his message, it must be added that liberal-progressives’ secular materialism inescapably leads society toward the tyranny of a ruling elite, who are free arbitrarily to decree anything they choose, without regard for the moral traditions upon which the United States was founded.

  1. ".......without regard for the moral traditions upon which the United States was founded."

And the moral tradition on which the United States was founded also included slavery and white male supremacy.

Does that mean the US should return to such a moral tradition? Does it also mean that America should not try to make life better for the majority, not only for white supremacists.

  6. If Obama is "just one of your typical black men," then I'm starting to appreciate white male supremacy! Hey! I'm just kidding!

But, it is true that America has been from the beginning the freest, most tolerant, most prosperous nation ever on earth, and it's few flaws were gradually improved on over the years with further extensions of rights, welfare, and tolerance of diversity. And it is a fact of history that that was all done by white men from 1620-1960.

For over 300 years those white men, assisted by their wives, clergy, and families, somehow built the finest nation on earth to which all people of every race and religion around the world have consistently sought to become a part of. And those same white people clearly built America on the firm foundation of the Judeo-Christian belief in the sacred dignity of every individual. They in effect, created America and thus were doing things better than any other group in history. It remains to be seen how much Obama improves on this extraordinary record of the past wwith his call for "change."

  7. It is true about the great role white men played in creating America. But it's time to move on.

However, what ever pigment America takes there should be satisfaction that it's white man's laws that prevail.
