    To 9-11 we had the entire country driving around with American flags fluttering from their cars, and a tangible blood thirst for "revenge." That is why Bush was so easily able to get the Iraq war started. We needed to "punish" somebody! --Even if Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11.

    With Bernie Madoff and the sub prime mess, we need our politicians to "do something," and that "something" will be more regulation, irrespective of whether it helps or not.
