Our failure to maintain a sound currency guarantees a trade imbalance with China and threatens a repetition of the stagflation of the 1970s.

  1. You can't fix this problem until we hit bottom. The reforms needed for the correction are unpopular with voters.

    The Gov. Accounting Office has been telling Congress for 10 years about some of the problems and for 3 years.
    unable to express an opinion on them for the 10th year in a row because the federal government could not demonstrate the reliability of significant portions of the financial statements,
