Obama: President Of The Flat Earth Society

The president staunchly clings to his “scientific consensus” that man-made climate-warming necessitates catastrophically expensive regulation of automotive CAFE standards, killing the coal mining industry, foreclosing petroleum and gas pipelines from Canada, and stopping drilling activity in the Gulf and on Federal lands.

Empirical scientific evidence does not support him:

The Fed As Chicago-Style Enforcer

The Fed: Playing Thug Politics With Banks

Read It And Weep

Nancy Pelosi, then House Speaker, reportedly urged quick passage of ObamaCare legislation so that members could then read it to learn what it contained.

Page counts range from 906 pages to 3,256 pages.  To date, regulations issued under ObamaCare legislation run around 20,000 pages as of early March, according to Senator Minority Leader McConnell’s office.

Now, three years later, members of Congress and their staffs have got around to reading the ObamaCare legislation.  As the substantial increases in insurance premiums become known, they are protesting mightily the requirement that they, like ordinary tax-paying citizens, be subject to ObamaCare.

Presidential Persuasion

Obama’s continual speechifying contrasts unfavorably with the style of Thomas Jefferson, who is claimed by the Democrat/Socialist Party as its founder.

Earth Day Was Inspired By Lenin

Earth Day was concocted by liberal-progressives to replicate the Soviet Union’s collective control of economic resources and all human behavior.  Fittingly it was established to fall on Lenin’s birthday.

The End Point of Democrat/Socialist Economic Policies

Obama and his party leaders in Congress are pursuing the same sort of inward-looking policy adopted by Adolph Hitler’s Third Reich.  Hitler’s approach was to rearm internally and to annex countries whose economic resources, such as oil, were then being imported into Germany.

Obama’s aim is essentially the same, via different methods: to become self-contained and independent of foreign influences, leaving American citizens entirely at the mercy of Washington’s unelected bureaucrats.  Rather than expanding military operations, Obama apparently wants to withdraw the United States from its post-World War II leadership position, partly to support Islamic societies, to which he feels drawn, and to rebuild labor union control of economic activity in the United States.

For example: the “lead from behind” stance in Libya, Egypt, and Syria; abrupt and complete withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan; support for uneconomic renewable fuels in lieu of imported petroleum; torrents of regulations by agencies such as the EPA; and aiding labor union efforts to gain control of all industry, service organizations, and governmental institutions, this last by making products manufactured in this country uncompetitive with goods and services produced elsewhere in order to keep exorbitant salaries, medical benefits, and pension plans.

In furtherance of this agenda, the Federal Reserve has flooded the world’s financial markets with fictitious, fiat dollars in order to keep interest rates on Federal debt far below real interest rate levels.

The rest of the world is now fighting back.

Letters From A Former Progressive

Mike Adams’s distillation of liberal-progressive, secular religion on college campuses.

…the main problem in higher education is not that we don’t teach religion at the university. The problem is that we teach false religion.

We teach kids that they may define the unborn as property if it will facilitate their sexual lifestyle or their economic well-being.

We teach kids that both their conduct and idea of right and wrong are determine by society and culture respectively.

We teach kids that man has the capacity to construct a utopian society so long as he is freed from the constraining idea that he is broken by sin and separation from God.

All of this is dangerous because it amounts to self-worship. That is dangerous because it requires a rejection of God, not just a rejection of tradition. Somewhere in the process, the idea of inalienable rights gets lost. Rights suddenly come from man. And that means man can take them away. These ideas have consequences.
