Stopping and destroying the ACLU is a meritorious objective if ever there was one.
Most people are unaware that the ACLU was founded, and remains committed, to support the activities of the most violently radical branches of the socialist and anarchist groups working to overthrow our Constitutional government. Our so-called educational system having failed to teach history, too many people today equate the ACLU with the vague mush subsumed under the name of “democracy,” which has come to mean simply that anyone can do any thing he desires, so long as it doesn’t involve advocating belief in God and the moral principles of the founding generations of our nation.

The ACLU is the embodiment of one-way social justice. It was founded in 1917, expressly and solely for the purpose of aiding efforts of anarchists and socialists to sabotage military preparations for our entry into World War I. ACLU co-founder and long-time leader Roger Baldwin was a devout disciple of Emma Goldman, the anarchist whose fiery speeches calling for “propaganda of the deed” were said by anarchist Leon Czolgosz to be his inspiration for assassinating President William McKinley in 1901. Rather than its self-proclaimed purpose of protecting individual rights, the ACLU consistently chooses to defend any person or practice that undermines traditional values, because doing so contributes to social disintegration and furthers the cause of secular socialism.
Separation of Church and State — Intellectuals and the ACLU assert that the constitution decrees an absolute wall between church and state. That, of course, is not factual. The First Amendment merely says that Congress shall pass no laws for the establishment of a state religion; the “wall” phrase is part of the disputed text in one of Jefferson’s letters. But for social-justice advocacy groups like the ACLU, simply permitting a student or a teacher to discuss a religious or moral question is said to amount to the official establishment of a Federal religion.
Liberals claim the right to teach in the public schools the religious tenets of Auguste Comte’s socialist Religion of Humanity. But traditionalists are not to be allowed to challenge this amoral religious doctrine. Students are not permitted to hear both sides of the argument.
John Dewey’s progressive education banned teaching “dead” tradition (natural-law, inalienable, God-given rights of individuals) and asserted that Darwinian evolutionary theory had obviated “superstitions” about truth, morality, and goodness. The only guide was to be pragmatism’s thesis that truth is whatever succeeds, that the end justifies the means, a formula that validates a totalitarian regime. As the Boomers say, “If it feels good, do it!” Today this is taught in our schools as “situation ethics.”
What else have the liberals done but establish socialism and its credo of social justice as the official state religion, pounding it into the psyches of every student, every day? This becomes particularly worrisome as the tide of immigration from completely alien cultures, coupled with our feckless educational system, leaves only a rapidly-shrinking minority of the population with any recollection or understanding of the history and traditions of the United States.
When the next big war confronts us, will Americans have become so conditioned by the welfare state that they be more focused on sensual gratification than upon defending the liberties for which our ancestors fought in 1776, liberties that they have not been taught to understand? Will they be willing to risk death to defend an anything-goes hedonistic society of which the essence has been reduced to casual sex, loud music, superficial images, and drugs?
