Senator Obama Votes Present
On the major financial crisis threatening world stability, Senator Obama couldn’t make up his mind. He dithered by proclaiming that something ought to be done, in effect voting neither yes nor no, but, as he so often has, voting present.
Perhaps this inability to take a leadership role in the real world, outside the liberal-progressive-socialist atmosphere of Harvard, is what he means by change. Perhaps his message is that he has nothing real to offer, so we had better hope for the best.
