Very real things exist, beyond the ability of humans to perceive them directly.

One of the starting points of philosophical materialism and its scientistic [pseudo-science] attempts to incorporate the methodologies of the physical sciences into the social sciences is the belief that, if you can’t see, touch, taste, or smell it, it doesn’t exist. From this comes liberalism’s rejection of God as primitive ignorance.
Conveniently overlooked is the inability to use our physical senses to observe demonstrable scientific processes like quantum mechanics. Liberals also are untroubled by the fact that observing the hypothesized process of biological evolution is impossible.
In that connection, Daniel Harris, who runs the Dr. Truth website, emailed the following observations about Global Warming vs Evolution.

Daniel Harris writes:
An interesting insight came to me this AM [07/11/2006]. I was sitting on the edge of my bed, about to put on my work boots, and I happened to glance down on one of many paper piles in the room. Sticking out of the pile were some old papers used in teaching a class in the 90’s at [then] International Bible College [SanAntonio, TX].
The papers showed growth and branching over time of various disciplines of study, as knowledge increased. I suddenly realized, regarding branching, that in both Darwinian evolution and Quantum Theory the actual event processes are never seen.
In evolution the transitional forms are not seen. In QT the emission or absorption of a photon is in principle unobservable, as are all other state transitions, either within atoms, or in collisions, etc. Before-and-after states are observable, describable, but the event of state-transition is not observable or describable.
It seems there is a commonality of mode in these phenomena. They both rely centrally on the idea of the invisible, unknowable process.
And immediately I realized the same mode of thinking had invaded other areas of so called “science," and even invaded some forms of doctrinal study of the Bible. This realization is the germ of an idea of importance, an idea that may help undo a major deceptive strategy of the enemy. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
What comes to mind at this moment is that any area of human knowledge which incorporates such invisible processes has the effect [and likely intent] of cutting off inquiry into a deeper and potentially important area of study. This means that there are important things to be discovered that these occult processes have, up to this time, kept hidden.
That morning I tried to explain some of this to a dear [non-technical] friend, and during the explantion I realized that the deceptive aspect of QT and of evolution took hold on the minds of the general public at nearly the same time, in the mid 1920’s. QT became accepted with the work of Bohr, Heisenberg and Dirac [and others] in the mid to late 20’s; and the Scopes trial was in 1925, when the academics and the church began the great compromise with evolution. That, I suspect, is more than coincidence.
