Belief in a scientific hypothesis by “most of the world’s scientists” of itself means nothing. Every theory, now rejected or otherwise, at one time was the consensus view.

The Wall Street Journal reports, “Australians Barry J. Marshall and Robin Warren won the 2005 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine for their work on how the bacterium helicobacter pylori plays a role in gastritis and peptic ulcer disease...."In 1982, when this bacterium was discovered by Marshall and Warren, stress and lifestyle were considered the major causes of peptic ulcer disease,” the assembly said in its citation.”
Twenty years ago, when pathologist Robin Warren first reported his findings, he was hooted down by the scientific community. Everybody KNEW that bacteria could not survive in the stomach’s gastric acids. Dr. Warren was written off as a crackpot.
Now, had he been raising questions about Darwinian evolution, you can be assured that the world would still believe that the only cause of stomach ulcers was mental stress.
Also, lest we forget, roughly forty million Germans, a vast majority of the population, adored Adolph Hitler in 1933 and regarded him as Germany’s savior from the chaos of the socialistic Weimar Republic.
On the other hand, liberal-socialists KNOW that George Bush’s winning more than fifty percent of the vote in 2004 is meaningless, because President Bush does not represent the TRUE voice of the people.
