In his inaugural address, and on many other occasions, Obama cites consensus among climate study fraudsters as more worthy of consideration than the simple, unavoidable fact that there has been no global warming for at least the most recent dozen years.

Nonetheless, Obama continues his pursuit of uneconomic, and often destructive, “green” policies, including bankrupting the coal mining industry.  As the fraudulent “scientists” of global warming admit themselves, global warming has always been nothing more than a panic lever to push us toward a world socialistic government in order to redistribute wealth on a global scale.

…subordinating climate science to ideology, however well intentioned, have proven to be incredibly costly.

The U.S. Government Accounting Office (GAO) reports that federal climate spending has increased from $4.6 billion in 2003 to $8.8 billion in 2010 (a total $106.7 billion over that period). This doesn’t include $79 billion more spent for climate change technology research, tax breaks for “green energy”,  foreign aid to help other countries address “climate problems”; another $16.1 billion since 1993 in federal revenue losses due to green energy subsidies; or still another $26 billion earmarked for climate change programs and related activities in the 2009 “Stimulus Bill”.

Virtually all of this is based upon unfounded representations that we are experiencing a known human-caused climate crisis, a claim based upon speculative theories, contrived data and totally unproven modeling predictions. And what redemptive solutions are urgently implored? We must give lots of money to the U.N. to redistribute; abandon fossil fuel use in favor of heavily subsidized but assuredly abundant, “free”, and “renewable” alternatives; and expand federal government growth, regulatory powers, and crony capitalist-enriched political campaign coffers.

Mr. Buchanan treats that danger in Christmas in an Anti-Christian Age

Darwinian evolution was enthusiastically endorsed, at the time Origin of the Species was published, by Karl Marx and his followers.  They viewed Darwin’s thesis as “proof” of their doctrine of history “evolving” from capitalism into a revolution of the proletariat that would transform human nature.  Thus liberal-progressive savagery directed against Christianity is intended to destroy spiritual religiosity, which stands athwart the path to “a good socialist society,” called in Orwellian Newspeak “science.”

Darwin’s hypothesis of biological evolution, when confined to natural selection as a means of modifying species, is just another interesting speculation. When, however, it is employed as Darwin intended— to deny God and morality— Darwinian evolution becomes a piece of heavy artillery for the liberal jihad.

Not only does it deny the truth of the Bible; more destructively it reduces the world of human habitation to a jungle of kill-or-be-kill amorality. Its doctrine provided a rationalization for the liquidations of tens of millions of people in the totalitarian regimes of Soviet Russia, National Socialist Germany, and Red China…

From high schools through college young students are taught that Darwinian evolution is the only scientific truth. Once having accepted that doctrine, students are only a step away from the doctrine that the Judeo-Christian morality underpinning the Constitution is ignorant nonsense…

One of Charles Darwin’s major champions was Thomas Huxley, who asserted that there is no such thing as morality; there is only the struggle for evolutionary survival.  Hence whatever kind of human conduct that enables one person or society to impose its hegemony on others is justified as evolutionary progress.  Enter Hitler and his master race theory…

Huxley’s dismissal of morality and sin echoes Thomas Hobbes’s version of the state of nature described in his 1651 Leviathan; or the Matter, Form, and Power of a Commonwealth, Ecclesiastical and Civil:

... In such condition there is no place for industry, ... and which is worst of all, continual fear, and danger of violent death; and the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.

Though from different starting points, Hobbes, Darwin, and Huxley were arguing, in effect, that the earthly sovereign (intellectual or military), not God-given morality, is the sole source of law and order in political society. Needless to say, this is a potentially totalitarian doctrine.

Guest Commentary: Climate spin is rampant

Does it matter that campaigners and the media are actively peddling disinformation? For the most part, probably not, as the public is by now used to such nonsense on just about every subject from unemployment figures to Barack Obama’s birth certificate. But there is one group that should be very concerned about the spreading of rampant misinformation: the scientific community. It is, of course, thrilling to appear in the media and get caught up in highly politicized debates. But leading scientists and scientific organizations that contribute to a campaign of misinformation — even in pursuit of a worthy goal like responding effectively to climate change — may find that the credibility of science itself is put at risk by supporting scientifically unsupportable claims in pursuit of a political agenda.

Like the priests of Baal in the Old Testament’s first Book of Kings, Al Gore and all the criminal “scientists” of global warming can call as loudly and as long as they wish to their own intellects, self-enshrined as the gods of the universe, but nature will not respond.  Our Creator God established the laws of nature at the instant of the universe’s creation, and puny humans can’t change them.  There always have been weather cycles.  We can’t change them nor control them.
